Job Description

Medication Passer (Med Passer) About Ivy and This Role At Ivy, we provide high-quality healthcare inside correctional facilities—serving a population with complex medical, mental health, and continuity-of-care needs that are often under-supported. Medication Passers (Med Passers) play a critical role in supporting safe and consistent care delivery. They are responsible for accurate medication administration, workflow support, and reliability in day-to-day operations . Med Passers at
Ivy:
Support medication administration under clinical supervision Help maintain efficient and organized workflows Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail Work closely with nursing staff and facility teams Reinforce a culture of accountability and professionalism What You'll Do Support Medication Administration Assist with medication pass in accordance with training and protocols Ensure correct patient, medication, dosage, and timing Report any discrepancies or concerns immediately Maintain accurate and timely documentation Support Clinical Operations Help maintain organized med carts and supplies Prepare for and assist with daily workflows Follow all procedures and guidelines consistently Collaborate with the Team Work closely with LPNs, RNs, and Medical Care Supervisors Communicate clearly about patient needs or concerns Support team members to ensure smooth operations Maintain Safety and Standards Follow all safety, infection control, and facility protocols Adhere to correctional facility procedures and expectations Maintain professionalism in a structured environment Contribute to Culture Be reliable and consistent in attendance and performance Take ownership of your responsibilities Support a respectful and accountable team environment What Matters Most Regardless of experience, you are: Highly detail-oriented Reliable and consistent Able to follow processes and protocols closely A clear communicator Comfortable in a structured, secure environment Focused on accuracy and patient safety Professional and team-oriented Why Join Us?
