Medical Assistant

Responsible for assisting medical staff to facilitate a smooth flow of healthcare practices and clinicoperations. Supports services provided to individuals receiving psychiatric treatment at Bay ArenacBehavioral Health to ensure a positive patient experience in the clinic. The Medical Assistant reports tothe nursing manager. QualificationsMinimum of a high school diploma and credentialed as a Medical Assistant. CMA/AAMA or RMAcredential required. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced office setting with multipleprescribers. Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with others is required.

Experience working within a behavioral health office and knowledge of psychotropic medications ispreferred, along with experience using electronic medical records and other common office technology.

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position Pay Range$18.82 - $22.58 per hour
