- Bilingual Call Center Representative (Healthcare)
- Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced
- Bilingual Call Center Representative
- with a strong in healthcare to support a high-volume primary care environment. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound patient calls, verifying insurance and eligibility, coordinating with clinical staff, and delivering exceptional patient service.
- Key Responsibilities
- Handle
- high-volume inbound and outbound calls
- (60-80+ calls per day) in a fast-paced primary care setting
- Perform
- insurance verification and eligibility checks
- with accuracy and efficiency
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
- based on patient and provider availability
- Communicate effectively with providers and staff by
- taking and relaying detailed messages
- Provide updates to patients on the
- status of authorizations and referrals
- Deliver excellent customer service while managing calls averaging
- 2-10 minutes
- depending on complexity
- Support front office operations by
- covering reception duties as needed
- Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of call center experience
- in a
- medical clinic, hospital, or healthcare environment
- Proven ability to manage
- high call volume
- while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- Experience with
- insurance verification, eligibility, and scheduling workflows
- Strong
- customer service and communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, EMR/EHR platforms, or scheduling tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Covina, CA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
