Aug 11, 2026 Job Description Lyndon Town School, serving children in Pre-K - Grade 8, announces the hiring of a Middle School Math Interventionist. Candidates must be dynamic, high quality math teachers interested in joining a high energy, collaborative school and possess a commitment to instructing students within a middle school model. Building strong relationships with students is a priority. Responsibilities include delivering mathematics using the Open Up Resources curriculum (OUR) utilizing a workshop model and Common Core Standards. A 5-9 Middle grades, or 7-12 mathematics endorsement is preferred. The individual will work closely within a collaborative team of middle school teachers. Experience with evidence based mathematics strategies, workshop models, positive behavior interventions, formative assessments, and Developmental Designs are a priority. We seek creative, passionate teachers with a sense of humor and genuine love for working with young people while collaborating to support high levels of achievement for students. The district provides mentorship and a supportive administration. The pay range for this position is $46,267-$89,467. Lyndon Town School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have "choice" and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choosing. We are located about 3 hours from Montreal, Boston and Portland, ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues.
