Aug 11, 2026 Job Description Lyndon Town School, serving children in Pre-K - Grade 8, announces the hiring of a Middle School Math Interventionist. Candidates must be dynamic, high quality math teachers interested in joining a high energy, collaborative school and possess a commitment to instructing students within a middle school model. Building strong relationships with students is a priority. Responsibilities include delivering mathematics using the Open Up Resources curriculum (OUR) utilizing a workshop model and Common Core Standards. A 5-9 Middle grades, or 7-12 mathematics endorsement is preferred. The individual will work closely within a collaborative team of middle school teachers. Experience with evidence based mathematics strategies, workshop models, positive behavior interventions, formative assessments, and Developmental Designs are a priority. We seek creative, passionate teachers with a sense of humor and genuine love for working with young people while collaborating to support high levels of achievement for students. The district provides mentorship and a supportive administration. The pay range for this position is $46,267-$89,467. Lyndon Town School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have "choice" and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choosing. We are located about 3 hours from Montreal, Boston and Portland, ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities.
