In this role, you will inspire and guide students through their academic journey, focusing on core subjects such as Math, Literacy, and Physical Education. Your enthusiasm for teaching, combined with your expertise in curriculum development and classroom management, will help foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth, curiosity, and achievement. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects including Math, Science, and Literacy. Teach middle school students using innovative learning technology and creative instructional strategies. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations. Provide mentorship and academic advising to support students' social-emotional development and academic success. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and inclusive environment conducive to learning. Incorporate special education techniques when necessary to meet diverse student needs. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school events, and extracurricular activities such as sports coaching or library services. Prior classroom experience working with middle school students in a public or private school setting. Demonstrated expertise in teaching core subjects like Math (including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus) and Literacy education. Strong communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively. Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and integrating learning technology tools. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and educational best practices such as Montessori or Chicago Manual of Style standards. Proven ability to manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment. Experience mentoring students or providing academic advising is highly desirable.
