Our classes combine strong movement, intentional sequencing, music-driven energy, lighting, and community to create an experience that goes beyond traditional yoga. As we continue growing throughout the Sarasota and Manatee County markets, we are seeking passionate, team-oriented, and growth-minded teachers to join our communities at YogaSix Parrish and YogaSix Lakewood Ranch. Whether your passion is heated vinyasa, Sculpt, strength-based formats, Restore, or mobility-focused movement, we are looking for teachers who genuinely love helping people and are excited to continue growing alongside a strong and supportive team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The best YogaSix teachers are passionate about helping students grow both physically and mentally while continuing to evolve in their own teaching journey. We are looking for team-oriented teachers who are open to feedback, committed to continued development, and excited to contribute positively to both the student experience and overall studio culture. This is more than simply teaching classes. Our teachers play an important role in building community, supporting studio growth, and creating an environment where students feel welcomed, challenged, supported, and inspired to return. Teachers may choose a primary "home" studio in either Parrish or Lakewood Ranch, or may teach across both locations based on preference and availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver Exceptional Classes Create dynamic, safe, and motivating class experiences while delivering consistent, high-quality classes aligned with YogaSix standards and methodology Teach heated vinyasa-based yoga classes that are inclusive, approachable, and engaging for students of all levels Sculpt and strength-based teaching opportunities may also be available based on experience and certification Set up and manage the practice room appropriately including props, music, lighting, equipment, and mat spacing Demonstrate the ability to teach safe, creative, and well-structured classes with a genuine interest in student success Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming practice room environment Build Connection + Community Arrive prepared to connect with students a minimum of 15 minutes prior to class Build authentic relationships with students and fellow team members Help foster an inclusive, welcoming, and high-energy studio culture Follow up and engage with students before and after class Represent the YogaSix brand with professionalism, positivity, and approachability Team Contribution + Studio Support Be an active, collaborative, and supportive member of the teaching team Attend classes regularly to continue learning, stay connected to the member experience, and support fellow teachers Participate in trainings, team meetings, auditions, and studio events Be open to coaching, feedback, and continued development Show reliability, professionalism, and strong follow-through in support of both students and fellow team members Support overall studio growth through community engagement, student retention, event participation, and general knowledge of memberships, workshops, and studio offerings Support fellow teachers through subbing, collaboration, and positive team engagement

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification required Heated yoga and/or vinyasa teaching experience preferred Sculpt, strength, fitness, or cross-training experience is a plus, but not required Current CPR certification preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Genuine ability to connect with people and create a welcoming environment Passion for helping others grow and feel their best Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic Willingness to remain a student forever — eager for growth, coaching, feedback, and continued education Teachers who contribute positively to studio culture, support the success of the broader team, and take pride in helping create an exceptional member experience Availability to teach a minimum of 3-4 classes per week preferred; including some early morning, evenings and weekends
