🔩 MIG Welder - Heavy Gauge Steel Fabrication 📍 Shop Floor | 🕑 2nd Shift (2-10 p.m.) / 3rd Shift (10 p.m.-6 a.m.) We're hiring a skilled MIG Welder to join our fabrication team. You'll weld heavy gauge stainless and mild steel components for compactors, pavement maintenance, and paving machinery — delivering strong, precise, and high‑quality results. 🔧 What You'll Do ⚙️ Set up machines & operate wire feed welding equipment. 🔩 Perform MIG welds on steel up to 1 inch thick. 🔄 Multi‑pass welds including 3‑pass welds to meet standards. 📐 Read blueprints & apply GD&T for accuracy. 🛠️ Inspect welds for quality & make adjustments. 🦺 Follow safety with proper PPE & clean workspace. ✅ What We're Looking For 2+ years of MIG welding experience on heavy gauge steel. Proficiency in stainless & mild steel welding. Ability to interpret blueprints & fabrication drawings. Knowledge of GD&T . Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
