Mobile Dog Groomer

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Mobile Dog Groomer to join our growing pet care business! As a mobile groomer, you'll bring professional grooming services directly to our clients' homes using our fully equipped grooming van (or your own if applicable). This is an excellent opportunity for groomers who love working independently, enjoy building relationships with clients and their pets, and want to avoid the chaos of a busy salon. Responsibilities Drive to clients' homes within the designated service area Bathe, dry, brush, and trim dogs according to breed standards or owner preferences Perform grooming services including nail clipping, ear cleaning, dematting, and sanitary trims Monitor dogs for signs of health issues and report concerns to owners Clean and sanitize grooming equipment and van between appointments Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs Manage appointment schedule and maintain accurate records Qualifications Proven experience as a dog groomer (minimum 2 years preferred) Strong knowledge of grooming techniques, dog breeds, coat types, and behavior Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds Excellent customer service and time management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Certification from a grooming school is a plus but not required Perks of the Job Flexible scheduling and autonomy No salon drama or long lines - just one-on-one pet care Friendly, supportive team (if part of a company) Tips, bonuses, and repeat clients You'll get plenty of dog kisses every day
