Mobile Home Park Assistant Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a highly functional and detail-oriented Mobile Home and RV Park Assistant Manager, to assist the onsite manager in all the daily operations of a manufactured housing and RV community and to take a leading role in the case of their absence. In this role, you will oversee property management, leasing activities, resident relations, and maintenance coordination to ensure a welcoming, and well-maintained environment. Your leadership will drive resident satisfaction, compliance with housing regulations, and operational excellence, creating a thriving community where residents feel valued and supported. Duties Assist the manager in all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations to foster a positive community atmosphere. Assist the manager to oversee property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs, inspections, and vendor relationships to maintain high standards of safety and aesthetics. Handle leasing processes using Excel. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant laws, and other applicable legal standards. Administer legal documentation including contracts, lease agreements, and notices; maintain accurate data entry and filing records for all resident and property files. Resolve conflicts between residents or staff promptly in coordination with senior management. Conduct regular property inspections, coordinate with maintenance staff or vendors for repairs; oversee safety protocols. Use of Excel for rent tracking, financial reporting, and data analysis to optimize operational efficiency. Engage in customer service excellence by maintaining courteous phone etiquette and fostering positive relationships with residents and prospects. Be prepared to take over the manger responsibilities in the case of the manager's absence. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; familiarity with mobile home parks or manufactured housing communities is highly desirable. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and legal administrative procedures. Proficiency in Excel, Word, data entry skills and office experience are essential. Excellent customer service skills paired with effective conflict management and negotiation abilities. Demonstrated ability to handle contracts, legal documentation, and compliance requirements accurately with involvement with senior management. Facilities management experience including property maintenance oversight. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and data management tasks. Effective communication skills including professional phone etiquette; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
