Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM•2:00 AM Position Summary The Molding Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining molding presses and related equipment used to manufacture molded components in a production environment. This role supports production goals by ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate, load, and unload molding machines and presses. Set up equipment according to work instructions and production specifications. Monitor machine operation to ensure product quality and proper machine performance. Load oven racks and transport materials for processing. Prepare molded products for machining by cutting, sizing, and inspecting materials. Perform secondary operations such as trimming, threading, notching, or assembly support. Conduct visual inspections and basic measurements to verify product quality. Complete production reports, labor tracking, and documentation accurately. Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company safety standards. Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and production defects promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes. Work Environment Manufacturing facility environment. Exposure to industrial machinery and production equipment. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
