Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career with a dynamic hospital position, offering the chance to utilize cutting-edge MRI and CT technology in a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals looking to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Required on-call: 8 overnight shifts per month (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) 30-minute response time for call shifts
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Tech California Radiologic Technologist license (required) ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) credentials (required) Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred:
ARRT (CT) and California Fluoroscopy Permit Experience operating GE Short Bore software 24x (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic MRI and occasional CT scans adhering to established protocols and safety standards Accurately document, review, and interpret orders for imaging procedures Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process Provide rapid response to on-call assignments, maintaining readiness and professionalism Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff for optimal patient care and image quality Adhere to strict infection control, departmental, and regulatory requirements
