Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital role providing high-quality MRI imaging services for patients in a collaborative healthcare environment. Qualifications and Required Experience:
Current registry with ARRT (MRI) or eligible to obtain before start date Completion of accredited MRI Technologist program; associate degree preferred Previous experience as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting Demonstrated knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging best practices Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills Proficiency with electronic medical records and PACS systems Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders Screen patients, review medical history, and ensure safe, accurate imaging procedures are followed Monitor and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each examination Work closely with radiologists and referring providers to relay technical information and address clinical needs Maintain accurate documentation and image records for each patient Clean, calibrate, and oversee daily maintenance of MRI equipment Follow infection control procedures and all facility standards
