MRI Technologist Position Summary Performs MRI procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned. MRI Technologist Position Requirements Education Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Program in Radiologic Technology is required. Certification in MRI preferred - will be required within 2 years. Experience Prior MRI experience required. MRI Technologist Work Schedule Day shift, Monday through Friday with alternating call. Schedule may expand to cover evening or weekend depending on patient demand. Shared call. All procedures must be completed by the end of the day. Overtime may be required. Expected to respond in the event of a disaster. Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.
