Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into an essential role delivering advanced MRI imaging services within a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity focuses on providing attentive, expert care as an MRI Technologist, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging while working collaboratively with a strong medical team.

12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)

H Nights Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Review patient history and physician's notes to ensure accurate image acquisition. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, utilizing appropriate imaging protocols. Assure compliance with facility policies, including documentation and infection control standards. Provide clear communication and compassionate care to patients throughout their visit. Participate in a fair, rotating on-call schedule, sharing responsibilities with full-time, part-time, PRN, and fellow contract staff; call frequency is based on team size. Assist with holiday coverage as needed unless approved for time off in advance. Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor malfunctions, and report technical issues promptly.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent credential required. Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging in a clinical setting. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.
