Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment and a strong ability to work independently as the sole technician per machine. The contract will be for a minimum of 13 weeks, with primary work at the Greensboro site and the possibility of occasional floating to nearby facilities.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed) Flexibility to work any three shifts assigned, Monday through Sunday No night shifts required No on-call commitment
Key Qualifications:
ARRT (MR) certification is mandatory A minimum of 5 years of recent MRI technology experience Proficient with Epic software Capable of starting IVs independently Experience with Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment Comfortable working independently (1 technician per scanner) Able to float between multiple facilities as needed
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with breast biopsy assistance and participation in research studies MRSO certification highly valued
Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality MRI images according to physician protocols Perform procedures safely and efficiently while ensuring patient comfort Prepare and position patients, start IVs as indicated, and accurately document procedures Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues Maintain compliance with all clinical and safety standards, including Epic documentation Assist with research-related imaging and breast biopsies as needed This is a great opportunity for MRI technologists looking to excel in a fast-paced, supportive setting with cutting-edge equipment.
