Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role where your MRI expertise will make a significant difference in patient care. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced imaging technology and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team committed to delivering accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient experiences.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered MRI Technologist (current ARRT certification in MRI required) Proven experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital setting Strong working knowledge of MRI safety protocols and operation of MRI equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Ability to provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before, during, and after scans High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate patient records
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physicians' orders and established imaging protocols Prepare patients for MRI examinations, explaining procedures, screening for contraindications, and ensuring comfort and safety Operate MRI equipment and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal image quality Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review scans and resolve questions regarding imaging studies Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal compliance standards related to safety and patient confidentiality Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the MRI suite and equipment
