Job Description

General Job Description:
This newly established position will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping of materials and supplies. The MRO Stockroom Technician will support daily warehouse and stockroom operations, and maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Includes but not limited to: Receive, and inspect, shipments; verify against packing slips and purchase orders. Stock and organize shelves, bins, and storage areas in accordance with established procedures Pick, pack, and prepare outbound repairs accurately and on time Maintain accurate inventory records using MRO software and manual logs Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories Report low stock levels, damaged, missing, or discrepant materials to supervision Label, tag, and organize stock items for easy identification and retrieval Issue materials and supplies to departments or personnel upon authorized request Store materials in designated locations following warehouse organization standards Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations including PPE requirements Maintain cleanliness and organization of all warehouse and stockroom areas Support other warehouse or operational staff as directed as assigned by the manager
Minimal Qualifications or Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire Physical requirements: o Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per day. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; up to 6 hours throughout the day. Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs throughout the day. Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, work orders, and stock labels Reliable transportation, punctual, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or inventory role preferred familiarity with inventory systems and software previous experience with purchase order creation and processing knowledge of VMI programs and working with those providers
Working Conditions:
Warehouse and stockroom environment; exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures May require overtime, weekends, or adjusted hours based on operational needs or inventory events
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
