Job Description

Job Title:

Regional Case Mix Specialist, Registered Nurse (RN) Discover a nursing environment where support, collaboration, and growth come first.

Requirements:
  • Current unencumbered Mississippi RN license.
  • Completion of a case management certification program after RN licensure.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, the ability to multi-task and to function independently.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers and the public.

Proficiency with electronic health records / MDS software.

Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in statistical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Will included frequent travel and possible overnight stays.

Position may include late hours and weekend work, therefore must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Reliable high-speed internet.

RAC-CT certification.

Responsibilities:

To coordinate delivery of services to managed care and Medicare residents in collaboration with the facility's team members.

Monitors and documents the cost effectiveness of treatment provided, serves as the resident and family advocate and acts as a liaison to insurance and medical management professionals. Ensuring compliance and training for multiple facilities.
