MSY Machinist - 2nd Shift

CNC machining role responsible for programming, setup, operation, and in-process inspection of multi-axis lathes for precision parts production. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED 5+ years of CNC machining experience Mazak MSY experience required Live tooling experience Experience machining metals, exotic metals, and plastics GD&T and close-tolerance machining experience Ability to inspect completed work independently Experience troubleshooting machining issues and recommending tooling changes Ability to interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches Preferred Skills Aerospace manufacturing experience Experience determining machining processes, tooling, and programming for complex parts Experience with CNC multi-axis lathes Experience optimizing tooling and machining methods for precision applications Job Responsibilities Program, set up, and run CNC multi-axis lathes Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches Determine machining process, tooling, and programming requirements Machine parts to close-tolerance specifications Inspect completed work to verify conformance Troubleshoot machining and setup issues Recommend tooling improvements and process adjustments Work with a variety of materials including metals, exotic metals, and plastics
