Music Teacher - Elementary Strings - Long Term Substitute

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold valid NYSED certification in the area of Music and you must be appointed to the WCSD as a certified substitute teacher. Please note that all substitute applicants must submit three signed Professional letters of recommendation from within the past 18 months. Candidates for all substitute positions must receive WCSD Board approval as a WCSD substitute teacher prior to starting the assignment. After fifteen consecutive days, our long-term substitute teachers are compensated at teacher salary according to their placement on the WCT salary schedule with the initial 15-day per diem payments paid retroactively back to the first day worked at salary level. Candidates must be prepared to provide additional documents to complete a candidate folder, including three letters of recommendation bearing the writers' signatures, dated within the last 18 months, valid teaching certificate, and transcripts.
