Travel CVOR Tech in Hopewell Junction, NY

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Travel Experienced and reliable Surgical Technologists are needed to provide expert support in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. Schedule:

7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday Four days per week, 10-hour shifts Includes on-call coverage for nights and weekends; holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technologist (active certification required) Minimum two years' experience in cardiac and vascular surgery Demonstrated proficiency assisting in both open and endovascular cardiac cases Ability and willingness to float to the Main OR as required

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVRs) Experience supporting

Lead Extractions Key Responsibilities:

Scrub and assist for a variety of complex cardiovascular and endovascular surgical procedures Prepare operating room and ensure all necessary instruments and sterile supplies are ready and available Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment Adhere to established protocols for infection control and sterile technique at all times Respond promptly to on-call assignments and adapt to urgent needs as necessary This position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where your specialized skills will make a difference every day.
