Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care. Provide expert advice on nail care routines, color choices based on color theory principles, and maintenance tips to ensure client satisfaction. Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and sterilization to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Assist clients in selecting products or services that meet their needs, upselling additional treatments such as hand or foot massages or nail enhancements. Stay current with the latest trends in nail art, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education. Manage retail sales of nail products and accessories effectively using retail math skills to meet sales goals. Ensure all tools and workstations are clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including cuticle treatment, shaping, polishing, and embellishments. Proficiency in color theory to help clients choose complementary shades for their skin tone and style preferences. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Experience with advanced treatments such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is a plus. Ability to perform additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, or barbering is advantageous. Knowledge of sanitation protocols and maintaining a sterile work environment. Effective retail sales skills combined with upselling strategies to enhance client experience and increase revenue.
