Eagan, MN Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $100,000 a year Qualifications Customer relationship building Client relationship development Full Job Description The Dart Transit Group has an immediate opportunity for an energetic, ambitious and goal-driven Sales Representative at its corporate headquarters in Eagan, MN. We are looking for the best and brightest to help our fleet grow.
Summary:
Reports to the SVP of sales and logistics. The majority of the work week will be prospecting, cold calling, securing & closing the deal with new customers. The sales position is a salaried position with no travel, unless needed.
Responsibilities:
Actively pursue and secure new accounts by prospecting and cold calling Focusing on target market customers Calling new customers daily to solicit freight and check on available lanes to quote Build professional relationships with new and existing customers Work closely with team members, logistics team, and dispatch to communicate customer's expectations to involved team members. Resolve customer concerns, develop solutions, and make recommendations to operations and management Ensure all new Customers meet company credit standards. Submit activity and results reports Must be able to conduct sales presentations to individuals as well as groups Must be a self-accountable individual driven to deliver results 3-5 years of prior customer focused Truckload and/or Brokerage sales experience with a proven record of establishing relationships with customers. A current 3PL book of business An understanding of the Third-Party Logistics industry and know how to successfully perform day-to-day brokerage operations in addition to having the ability to increase sales. Candidates should also have high levels of initiative, creativity and capability of juggling multiple projects simultaneously. Proactively support the organization's goals and objectives.
