Loading/unloading the elevator, keeping the hardware boxes organized and put back with furniture when it comes downstairs.
Position Responsibilities:
Load/unload the elevator with casegoods. Perform all duties safely and report any safety hazards to your immediate supervisor; including techniques for grounding / bonding where needed Complete other assigned duties as directed by supervisor. Maintains neat and orderly work station; keeps equipment clean. Wear required safety glasses and work shoes; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor. Also performs required stretching exercises. Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must be able to read and write, count, lift and stoop. Must be familiar with and have operational knowledge of department tools English required for reading tickets and instructions.

Carry:
Frequently lifting 50 - 100 lbs. onto and off work station; occasionally lifting in excess of 100 lbs.; team lift greater weights. Standing /
Walking:
Must be able to stand and walk consistently during the 8+ hour day .

Repetitive use of hands required. Must be able to use elevator operations entire shift.

Stoop:
Gathering supplies throughout day from various heights.

Must be able to push cases into designated work zones; or pull with designated tow tool.

Indoors, controlled airflow, depending on building may or may not be air conditioned.
Climbing:
Must be able to climb up/down ladders between 2 - 8 feet tall using 3 point contact method to reach various heights requiring sanding or finishing or to clean booth and change out filters.
