$71,000 - $100,000 General Purpose The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining a secure, stable, and efficient IT infrastructure. This role oversees network maintenance, security, hardware/software management, and LAN/WAN connectivity across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, infrastructure management experience, and hands-on expertise with enterprise networking technologies. This role also requires excellent communication and analytical skills to resolve issues, optimize systems, and support future infrastructure growth. Essential FunctionsNetwork Setup & Maintenance Install, configure, and manage network hardware including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls Maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and related network infrastructure Monitor network performance and ensure high availability Support disaster recovery and business continuity operations Security & Access Control Implement and manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems Manage user authentication, permissions, and access controls Conduct regular security audits and apply security patches Participate in cybersecurity projects and initiatives Troubleshooting & Support Diagnose and resolve network and helpdesk-related issues Provide technical support to end users and internal IT teams Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and incidents Performance Optimization Analyze network traffic and system utilization to improve efficiency Recommend and implement infrastructure upgrades and improvements Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure and changes Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Assist with network scalability and expansion planning Additional Responsibilities The IT department functions as a service-oriented team supporting infrastructure and users across multiple business units. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise along with effective communication and collaboration skills. This position requires a proactive, hands-on approach and may involve after-hours support for production outages, shipment-impacting issues, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
