Job Summary The Machine Operator / Production Associate is responsible for ensuring machines are set up according to production schedules and that product quality standards are consistently met throughout the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate machines according to schedule and specifications Maintain product quality in accordance with process standards Perform routine quality checks and document results Monitor materials and equipment to ensure consistent output Assist in troubleshooting production issues and identifying root causes Communicate equipment or process concerns to supervisors promptly Support preventive maintenance (PM/TPM) activities Maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with team members and support staff to improve processes Follow all safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, or near misses Participate in training and support team development Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fiberglass manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to schedule changes Work Environment & PPE Steel-toe boots required Jeans and t-shirt (no holes) Safety glasses and hearing protection required Background Requirements Ohio and Indiana DOC search required Sex offender registry check required Felonies considered on a case-by-case basis with approval #FortWayne
