Night Route Supervisor

Shoreline Transportation is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our management department as a route supervisor.

Responsibilities :

Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles, such as Commercial Motor Vehicles. Plan, organize and manage the work of assigned employees to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. Available for night shift Sunday - Friday and all scheduled Saturdays. Average hours worked per week are 60 plus. Serve as contact person for assigned customers or shippers within assigned territories. Collaborate with other managers and staff members to coordinate and plan for daily driver requirements. Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations. Work directly with maintenance management and staff to ensure repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities are being met. When required, support as a truck driver for local accounts as needed. Report daily to executive management. Other requests made by the Operations Team.

Requirements :

Currently live within a 30-mile radius of Montgomery, AL. Experience with the logistics planning of Automotive Manufacturing a plus.

Computer Skills a plus:

Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills. Good organizational and motivational skills. Awareness of internal and external customer needs. Hold a class A, CDL with a clean MVR and 2-year's driving experience.
