Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in nuclear medicine imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment that values precision and patient-centered care. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist ready to make a meaningful impact through advanced diagnostic services.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Rotating weekend call What you'll need: Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N) Proven experience in nuclear medicine procedures and imaging Proficiency with nuclear imaging equipment operation and maintenance Commitment to safety protocols involving radiopharmaceutical handling and radiation exposure Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain Key responsibilities: Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols Ensure accurate preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards Adhere to regulatory and infection control guidelines at all times Explain procedures clearly to patients and address their concerns with empathy and professionalism Accurately document imaging results and maintain detailed patient records Participate in ongoing quality control and improvement initiatives within the imaging department You'll thrive in a setting that prioritizes teamwork and ongoing professional development.
