Nurse Aide

Nurse Aide needed for Sedalia, MO Area. Great way to supplement you income. Part Time - Weekends Only Needing 3 hours daily on Saturday and Sunday. Our established healthcare facility is in search of an experienced and compassionate Caregiver who understands the importance of meeting the needs of clients while helping them maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for a committed individual who has impeccable communication skills and is able to problem solve on the spot. Our Caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team. Caregiver Job Description Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, mobility, medication reminders, personal hygiene, eating and shopping/errands Monitor patient medications and update health charts Maintain open communication between families and health care professionals regarding client's medical and emotional condition Document and report any changes in client's health status Ensure highest client safety and well-being

Some clients have specific rules or schedules that must be minded, or specific rules that must be followed.

Interpersonal Skills:

Caregivers work in a very personal way with their clients. Some will be in pain or very sensitive to their fragility. Caregivers must be sensitive and compassionate with clients.

Stamina:

Caregivers might need to assist clients into the bathtub, transportation vehicles and into bed, and need strength.

Time Management:

Caregivers are schedule keepers. Caregivers have to be there to make sure clients get up on time, make sure medication is taken on schedule and clients get to appointments on time. Must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Pay:

$16.10 per hour
