Background Investigion Requirement:
This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigion as a condition of employment. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Educion:
A gradue or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associe degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educional program is required. This educion must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegie Nursing Educion , Council on Accredition of Nurse Anesthesia Educional Programs , Accredition Commission for Midwifery Educion , or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Educion the time the degree was obtained.
Licensure :
For all grade levels and positions, applicants must have passed the Nional Council Licensure Examinion . In addition, they must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registrion as a professional nurse from a Ste, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United Stes. In addition to the above requirements, applicants must meet one of the following requirements: Successful completion of a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educional program or reled medical science field; or Possession of a diploma, associe degree, bachelor's degree, or master's degree from a professional nursing educional program AND least one full year of professional nursing experience ( equivalent to the GS-9 grade level ) performing the following duties: Developing a tracking system for pient care coordinion and care management across the continuum; Independently plans and provides nursing care based on professional nursing practices and medical protocols or guidelines for pients; Collaboring with the physicians to develop clinical protocols and guidelines th establish standards of care; Provide case management for pients by coordining services to meet pient's care goals; Provide oversight to ensure compliance and approprieness of care.
