DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, assists in the delivery of nursing care. Follows the nursing plan of care and reports interventions, changes or relevant observation to the RN. Serves as an integral resource in implementing clinical and technical aspects ofcare. Is attuned to the individual needs of assigned patients and modifies approach to care based on patient needs, age and outcomes.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent prefered, currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing with successful completion of nursing fundamentals.

Experience:

Preferred one year experience working in a healthcare environment.

Certifications/Licenses:

BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association). •Please email current transcripts (does not have to be official) and either two letters of recommendation, or a copy of your latest clinical evaluation, to rgrothe@bmhsc.org .
