This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting clinical excellence, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The Manager collaborates closely with physicians, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and support departments to maintain exceptional standards of maternal and newborn care while fostering a positive and professional work environment. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management of the LDRP unit Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing and support staff Ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with ANA standards, hospital policies, and specialty-specific guidelines Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, retention, and performance management Conduct daily patient care rounds and address patient/family concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, infection prevention, and regulatory standards Drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices Monitor staffing productivity, unit budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies Support Shared Governance and professional nursing practice initiatives Partner with clinical educators to identify staff educational needs and professional development opportunities Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, compassion, and patient satisfaction QualificationsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required Master's Degree preferred Experience 1-3 years of nursing leadership or management experience preferred Strong clinical background in Labor & Delivery / Women's Health required Licensure & Certifications Current New Jersey RN License required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required BLS Certification through AHA required Specialty Certification preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a collaborative nursing leader with strong clinical expertise in women's services, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced hospital environment. This individual should possess strong operational, leadership, and relationship-building abilities with a passion for delivering outstanding maternal and patient care.
