Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks, and have a strong background in various specialties such as acute care and primary care. This role involves providing comprehensive patient assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures like suturing and IV infusions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care across outpatient settings. The Nurse Practitioner will also be involved in telehealth services, medical documentation, planning, and health coaching to support patient recovery and well-being. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and anatomy/physiology evaluations. Manage a broad spectrum of medical conditions utilizing skills in acute pain management, infection control, wound care (including suturing), catheterization, and IV insertion. Perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, medical imaging, sonography, and specimen collection/processing. Administer medications via injections or infusion therapies such as IV infusion and spinal tap procedures. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Engage in telehealth consultations for outpatient services and follow-up care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique during procedures. Participate in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives as needed to advance patient care standards. Experience Proven experience working in primary care for at least three years Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth; experience with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10). Prior work with diverse populations. Pay:
$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
