Nursery Sales & Operations Manager

HoneyHill Nursery is a growing, family-owned nursery in Hardeeville, SC, serving landscapers, builders, designers, contractors, homeowners, garden centers, and other industry professionals. We specialize in high-quality trees, shrubs, ornamental plants, specialty soils, mulch, and plant material. We are looking for a motivated, personable, and organized Nursery Sales & Operations Manager to help manage daily nursery sales, customer relationships, team task lists, and overall nursery operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, talking with customers, leading a team, and helping a small business grow. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers, contractors, landscapers, builders, and designers Answer calls, respond to customer questions, and follow up with leads Help customers with plant selections, product questions, and order needs Create and organize quotes, orders, and customer follow-ups Monitor inventory and communicate product needs to management Manage the daily nursery task list and help keep the team on track Supervise nursery employees and communicate daily priorities Assist with scheduling deliveries, pickups, and customer visits Help keep the nursery clean, organized, and customer-ready Work closely with upper management on pricing, availability, and special requests Ideal Candidate The right person for this role is: Friendly, professional, and confident with customers Comfortable working with landscapers, contractors, builders, designers, and homeowners Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented A self-starter A strong communicator and natural problem-solver Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Sales-minded and interested in building long-term customer relationships Able to lead others with professionalism and accountability Qualifications Nursery, landscaping, horticulture, garden center, plant care, or agriculture experience preferred General plant knowledge strongly preferred Sales or customer service experience Leadership or team management experience preferred Comfortable using phone, email, and basic computer systems Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Schedule & Pay This is a full-time position, primarily weekdays, with some Saturday availability required.
