Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, patient areas, or facility spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a hygienic environment Follow established protocols for environmental services and infection control, including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines Handle floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and safety Restock supplies like paper products, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability at all times Adhere to safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation to promote a safe workplace for yourself and others Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution Skills Proven custodial or janitorial experience in healthcare or commercial settings preferred Knowledge of OSHA standards related to workplace safety and chemical handling Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and environmental services protocols Experience with floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, or carpet extraction techniques Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Join us in creating a pristine environment where safety meets excellence!
