Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Nutrition Services Supervisor Windham SAU# 95 Windham, NH 2026-2027 School Year Core Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Safety:

Responsible for cooking and preparing daily menu items while maintaining safe temperatures and quality. Strict adherence to the NH Sanitation Code and student allergy awareness is required.

Kitchen Management:

Oversees the cleaning of all equipment and workstations. Manages inventory, conducts monthly counts, and ensures proper storage or disposal of food and supplies.

Leadership & Supervision:

Supervises and trains a team of five (5) direct reports. This includes scheduling, assisting, and evaluating School Nutrition Service Assistants.

Administration:

Handles daily production records, weekly ordering, and verifies daily financial deposits. Required Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma.

Experience:

3 to 5 years of food service experience with demonstrated leadership or supervisory abilities.

Certification:

Must complete ServSafe Certification within the first year of employment. Key Skills & Abilities

Technical Knowledge:

Working knowledge of large-group nutrition, "serve safe" regulations, and state laws governing public kitchens.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to interact positively with staff and students and maintain effective customer relations using good judgment and tact.

Operational Skills:

Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment at an efficient speed and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
