We are currently seeking a NYC DOB Licensed Elevator Inspector to join our rapidly growing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Perform Category 1 and Category 5 inspections and tests. Inspect installation and operation of elevators and related conveyance equipment to verify code compliance. Investigate concerns regarding code violations and verify that corrective actions have been completed. Interpret and explain rules, regulations, ordinances, and safety standards to clients. Serve as a liaison with Federal, State, and Local Code Enforcement agencies. Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and deficiency lists for correction. Follow company standards, forms, and procedures while maintaining a company vehicle. Travel to various sites and work overtime or off-hour shifts as required.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

Valid NYC DOB Elevator Inspector's License (Mandatory). Thorough knowledge of NYC Building Code and ASME Safety Codes. Strong working knowledge of elevator systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Clean and valid driver's license. Strong computer and mobile business device skills. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. QEI Certification (preferred). Ability to provide a resume and professional work references.

Competitive Salary:

$135,000 - $150,000 based on experience.

$135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
