Occupational Nurse Siemens-Energy Richland Switchgear Factory, Richland MS The Siemens-Energy Richland manufacturing facility is the company's worldwide hub for highvoltage switchgears. Job Summary The Occupational Nurse reports directly to the head of Environmental, Health, and Safety. The successful candidate holds a valid License as an RN in the state of Mississippi and current certification in CPR/AED from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is preferred. Essential Job Duties Treats employees who sustain minor on-site injuries and refer to outside medical facilities as needed. Assists with case management for injured workers and facilitate return to work. Participates in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analyses. Assists with administration of the Drug and Alcohol program according to company policy. Assists with management of CPR/AED and First Responder training for employees who are designated as First Responders for the site. Drives increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing, and eliminating workplace health risks, and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and well-being. Willingness to work closely with the Safety manager and Safety Coordinator to recognize hazards and prevent injuries. Maintenance of record retention, and storage of confidential documents. Assessment of potential health hazards at the site. Assists with management of wellness program/health promotion such as mammogram testing, health improvement activities, health fair, etc. Assistance with hearing conservation and other industrial hygiene programs. Assists in regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies/ departments to achieve company safety objectives. Assists the EHS manager with maintaining accurate

logs and generating all injury/ illness metrics as required. Maintains a current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards and initiatives. Assists with all in-house seminars which include scheduling meeting rooms, gathering participant's names, preparing sign-in sheets, presentation materials and handouts, and related functions. Prepares weekly and monthly reports based on deadlines. Prepares materials for various meetings and training sessions. Performs other duties as assigned by EHS manager. May perform other duties as required. Statement of Coverage In absence of an incumbent, a temporary nurse will be contracted through a nursing vendor. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Apply common sense understanding, to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or in diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables and/or from standardized situations. Ability to read safety rules, instructions for procedures, write reports with grammatical correctness, and speak with poise, voice control, and confidence. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Education and Experience Previous manufacturing experience is a plus. Knowledge in various areas of occupational health, including but not limited to: OSHA compliance, ADA, EH&S, HR, ergonomics, health promotion, EMS, and/or education / training.

Professional Licenses or Certifications. RN certification Active CPR/AED certification with American Red Cross or American Heart Association. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing and office environment, noise level requires hearing protection in some areas, temperature in some areas may be hot or cold.

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
