Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Take the next step in your Occupational Therapy career with an exciting contract opportunity serving students in a supportive school environment near Citrus Heights, CA. This role is perfect for professionals who are passionate about fostering growth, independence, and well-being for children and adolescents.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience in schools or working with pediatric populations as an Occupational Therapist is preferred Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy required Current, active OT license issued by the state is a must Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse needs in accordance with IEP goals Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to promote access and participation in school-based activities Collaborate with educational staff and families for integrated support solutions Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation within required timelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Provide training and guidance to school staff and parents as needed
