Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Experience the adventure of working in one of Alaska's most breathtaking regions while making a meaningful difference in students' lives. Opportunities are now available for motivated Occupational Therapists to serve schools throughout the scenic Kenai area, including full-time and part-time positions. Three openings cater to both experienced professionals and enthusiastic newcomers wanting the chance to support young learners within a travel-friendly and collaborative educational community.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Alaska) Experience in a school-based OT setting preferred, but open to new graduates with a passion for pediatric therapy Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other support staff Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting diverse student needs Availability for on-site assignments in various Kenai area locations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in partnership with educators and families Provide direct OT services to help students achieve developmental and educational goals Document progress, maintain appropriate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Support the creation of an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Travel between assigned schools within the region as needed Enjoy the
