Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling career supporting students' growth and academic success with two full-time opportunities for contract School Psychologists. These positions begin August 19, 2026 and continue through May 20, 2027. Qualifications & Experience:
Alaska School Psychologist Certification required (must be current or eligible) Experience working in school settings preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Skilled in providing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral support, and consultation to educators and families Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities Passionate about creating positive, inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver data-driven recommendations to support students' academic and emotional development Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and other support staff to ensure holistic student care Engage in crisis intervention, prevention, and counseling services Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans Remain current with best practices, legal compliance, and district policies
