Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting PreK through 8th-grade students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity allows you to provide Occupational Therapy services across multiple school sites, collaborating with educational teams to deliver impactful therapy and meaningful results. The assignment runs from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week and the chance to work with a diverse student caseload in a dynamic educational environment.
Qualifications or Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist credential/license, current and in good standing Previous experience or strong interest in working within school settings (PreK-8th grade) Demonstrated skills in in-person therapy (teletherapy background valued, but on-site service required) Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, educators, and families Ability to manage diverse caseloads across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based OT interventions for PreK-8th grade students Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and documentation Monitor, record, and report student progress to both educators and families Travel between multiple campuses as needed for service delivery (no teletherapy assignments at this time) Work collaboratively with educational staff to maximize student outcomes This contract offers stability across the academic year and the chance to make a direct, positive difference in students' school experiences.
