Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Center Rutland, VT, focusing on providing specialized therapy services within a school environment. This contract position involves delivering comprehensive occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students, fostering their development and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed occupational therapy assessments to evaluate student needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse student populations. Deliver occupational therapy services in various formats, including individual and group sessions. Maintain accurate, thorough records of therapy sessions and student progress. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering professional insights related to occupational therapy. Stay current with emerging research and best practices in the field of occupational therapy.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Valid occupational therapy license or certification. Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain detailed documentation and adhere to deadlines.

Position Type:
Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week). Caseload includes students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
