Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while supporting a skilled nursing facility in Atlantic, IA. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care settings is required. Experience with ADL retraining, splinting, therapeutic activities, and documentation in electronic medical records is required. Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and restorative staff. Preference given to candidates with prior experience in geriatric populations, wound care, or cognitive/perceptual interventions. These are preferred qualifications, not requirements.

PCT requirement:

85% (facility expectation for productivity/caseload performance). Must be available for an emergency coverage assignment due to a COTA medical emergency; coverage is expected for at least six weeks.
