m. Wages starting at $23.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Candidates with previous mining experience, specifically underground mining experience, will be preferred. Overall compensation will be determined based on the experience and skill set of the candidate. Oldham County Stone is an underground limestone mine/quarry seeking candidates to fill our need for an off-road Haul Truck Driver in Crestwood, KY. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Responsibilities as Follows but
Not Limited To:
Operate haul trucks to move shot rock the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process. Perform daily pre-and post
  • inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management. Effective communication skills applicable to position. Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency. Properly follow all company policies and
OSHA / MSHA
/ Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Qualifications:
Dedication to safe work practices. Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred. Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed. Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document. Pass pre-employment drug screen.
