This emergency department offers 31 beds, averaging 78 patients per day, and provides a fast-paced environment serving individuals across the lifespan—from infants to seniors, addressing everything from cardiac events and trauma to behavioral health and post-transplant care. You'll work with supportive, round-the-clock resources, including a dedicated charge nurse, ER physicians, respiratory therapists, and advanced imaging services right on the unit. Exposure to such a diverse patient population means every shift brings new challenges and learning opportunities, driven by a collaborative approach and various clinical leadership styles. Qualifications:

Active RN licensure with

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

Minimum 2 years' recent ER nursing experience Strong IV start, Foley, NG tube, triage, code, and critical care skills Proficient with Cerner EMR (preferred) Collaborate well in high-acuity, team-based settings Confident, resourceful, and adaptable, serving as an ER subject matter expert

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver expert emergency care for diverse acute presentations including trauma, cardiac, sepsis, respiratory, and behavioral emergencies Triage, assess, and manage patients efficiently in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Initiate/titrate drips, provide moderate sedation, assist with bedside procedures Lead by example, ensuring best practices and patient safety in every encounter
