Job Description

Office Assistant (Part‑Time / Fill‑In Support) Our mental‑health practice is seeking a friendly, social, and dependable Office Assistant to support daily operations in a professional medical atmosphere. This part‑time position primarily serves as a fill‑in role when the Office Manager is unavailable, but also participates in team communication and monthly meetings. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a team setting, and can maintain a calm, welcoming environment for clients while handling a variety of administrative and office‑support tasks. Key Responsibilities Client Greeting — Welcome clients warmly, maintain a positive and professional front‑desk presence Team Collaboration — Work closely with the Office Manager, ARMHS Program Director, and Owner Monthly Team Meetings — Attend team meetings on the first Monday of every month Office Support Tasks — Restock supplies, tidy shared spaces, take out garbage, perform light cleaning Errands & Lunch Runs — Pick up lunch or supplies as needed Receipt & Document Handling — Scan receipts, organize digital files, maintain basic documentation Technology Use — Use Google Sheets, Google Docs, printers, and computers HIPAA‑Sensitive Duties — Handle client information with strict confidentiality and professionalism Required Skills & Qualifications Preference for 18 years of age or older Able to pass a background check Social, friendly, and comfortable interacting with clients and staff Able to work well in a team‑based environment Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Basic proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Docs, printers, computers, and phones Reliable, organized, and able to manage small tasks independently Comfortable in a medical/mental‑health office setting Willing to complete Ethics and HIPAA training Reporting Structure This position reports to: Office Manager ARMHS Program Director Owner Schedule & Compensation Part‑time , primarily fill‑in when the Office Manager is unavailable Must be available for monthly team meetings (first Monday of each month) Pay depends on experience
Summer Schedule Needs:
Office manager is out on Tuesdays and Thursdays, this would be available hours to the office assistant. 8am-2pm is preferred time range. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
