Job Description

Job Description Summary This role is an individual contributor that provides technical leadership to the Peebles Test Operations (PTO) Test Enabling Hardware (TEH) Maintenance team. You will work directly with PTO TEH Operations leadership to ensure all TEH is inventoried and maintained in accordance with the local total productive maintenance plan. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Ensure safety and ergonomics in all TEH maintenance processes. Create and issue detailed work orders to drive high-quality work for both periodic and corrective maintenance needs. Respond to issues encountered during testing, as well as prep-to-test operations, driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and delivery. Utilize
FLIGHT DECK
tools, along with in-depth technical discipline knowledge, to lead problem-solving efforts and drive root-cause corrective actions in the shop. Manage issues encountered during inspections and maintenance. Work with design owners, vendors, etc., to develop innovative solutions. Use technical expertise and analytical thinking. Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of your own teams to arrive at decisions. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)). Minimum of 3 years' experience in design engineering Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. #LI-TJ1 This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
