Operations Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with stacking, strapping, and binding mine material. Assist with building crane mats and cutting wedges. Assist with loading, unloading, materials using appropriate machinery to ensure timely processing. Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment. Support waste collection activities by operating garbage trucks or roll-off trucks for proper disposal. Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed for material handling and site organization. Maintain equipment by performing basic inspections, reporting issues promptly, and ensuring proper usage. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements Prior experience with sawmill equipment is highly preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor consistently throughout the shift. Knowledge of manufacturing processes or sanitation procedures is a plus. Valid certification or licensing for forklift operation is advantageous; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency.
