Job Description

Job Summary We are growing and looking for the right optometrist to grow with us. Our practice is seeking a medically oriented optometrist to take over Mondays and possibly Fridays and build the day from ground up. While Mondays are currently open, this is a unique opportunity for a clinician who enjoys practicing full-scope optometry and wants to develop their own patient base with a supportive, established office. Your expertise will help patients maintain optimal eye health through precise examinations, diagnosis, and treatment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical skills with compassionate patient care, ensuring each individual receives personalized attention in a welcoming environment. Duties Conduct thorough eye examinations using specialized equipment to assess visual acuity, ocular health, and overall physiology. Diagnose and manage common eye conditions, including refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and pediatric eye issues. Prescribe corrective lenses and recommend appropriate treatments or interventions tailored to each patient's needs. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) , ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in customer service by addressing patient concerns empathetically while promoting sales of optical products when appropriate. Spanish language is beneficial but not mandatory.
